Bonnie Blue Butler, named for the daughter of Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler of Jonesboro, Georgia, went home to the Master Mechanic on February 29, 2016.

Ms. Butler, originally from Detroit, passed away peacefully in Washington, DC, after an extended illness.

Ms. Butler had homes in New York and Washington, DC. During her frequent trips along the East Coast, she garnered nearly 83,000 miles. She was fond of stopping at roadside taverns, truck stop diners, and numerous casinos.

While in New York, she accompanied adults and youth groups on various outings and church mission trips.  She especially delighted in her time in Washington escorting the Red Hat Society Ladies on their exciting adventures.

Ms. Butler took pleasure in listening to NPR, Traffic Reports, and the Oldies Stations, particularly songs by her favorite group, The Hubcaps. She took tremendous pride in her DC license plate proclaiming "Taxation Without Representation."

Ms. Butler was an active member of AAA, State Farm Insurance, and Jiffy Lube.

A private memorial service is planned.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Mustang Sally Foundation, or the Institute for Little Old Ladies from Pasadena.
