My name is Deborah Jones Sherwood. I happily reside in the SW quadrant of Washington, DC, near Nationals Park, Audi Field, Arena Stage, and the new Southwest Waterfront Redevelopment.

I spent many years speaking and writing about the history of America's First Ladies. I am the author of "The First Ladies: Their Lives and Legacies" published by Barnes & Noble. I have been featured in magazines, newspapers, television, American and International radio and was a special interest lecturer for Crystal Cruises. I was privileged to have had such a rewarding and fun career writing and speaking Nationally and Internationally about these remarkable women.
I am now happily enjoying retirement.

Several of the essays in this humor blog have been previously published as newspaper columns, others appear for the first time in these pages.
I hope you enjoy them.
