                              MY BIRTHDAY FUNDRAISER

Donating to my Facebook Friends’ Birthday Fundraisers gives me a chance to wish them a Happy Birthday and support their meaningful causes.

I simply tap the DONATE button, select an amount, and then “whoosh” through an internal system, called “Facebook Payments” my funds are instantly sucked into cyberspace and plopped into the bank accounts of worthwhile charities.

Facebook also conveniently stores my information so I don’t have to reenter it each time a Birthday Boy or Girl requests a donation to their favorite non-profit organization. And, if I choose, with just a tap, I can spread the word of my generosity to all of their Facebook friends.

My October 1st birthday is coming up soon. Since it’s the BIG one ~ my 70th ~ I would like to commemorate it by requesting donations to my favorite organization.

However, I don’t want anyone feeling uncomfortable about giving access of your payment details to the good folks at Facebook. Instead of using “Facebook Payments” we will circumvent their entire system by having you send cash (check or money orders also happily accepted) directly to me.

I will be honored to personally deliver your generous donations to my cause, “The MGM Casino at National Harbor."
